I am Kemi Oluwatosin.
Trauma Psychotherapist, Somatic EMDR Psychotherapist, and Sexologist creating spaces where healing is not rushed and where bodies are remembered with reverence.
I support individuals navigating trauma, childhood sexual abuse, anxiety, and sexual concerns. These experiences can leave deep impressions on the body and mind, and you deserve a space where your story is met with care and understanding.
Anxiety is often the first sign that something within you is asking for attention. It might show up as social anxiety, health worries, obsessive compulsive patterns, or sudden waves of panic. Whatever form it takes, it’s important to know that you’re not facing it alone.
In the UK, research shows that 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men have experienced some form of sexual abuse before the age of 18. Childhood trauma, however, doesn’t only take the shape of abuse. It can also include growing up with a parent who struggled to regulate their emotions, being dismissed or criticised when you needed comfort, or feeling unseen and unheard in your own home.
Experiences like these can shape how you move through the world. They may contribute to anxiety, depression, difficulties in relationships, challenges around sexuality and intimacy, or a sense of being disconnected from your own needs and self-worth.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. I’m here to support you with compassion, steadiness, and a trauma-informed approach, helping you find safety in your body, clarity in your emotions, and a sense of belonging within yourself.
My approach blends:
- Trauma Psychotherapy and Somatic EMDR
- Psychosexual therapy for trauma and pleasure
- Attachment, Internal Family Systems and Relational work
- Cultural, relational, and faith-aware practice
I hold your story with care and confidentiality. Therapy becomes a place where you can breathe, explore, settle, and reconnect with yourself.
